The 5-3 Mizzou Tigers are back at the Mizzou Arena for their game tonight against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. The Tigers are coming off a last second loss on Tuesday night in Tulsa against Oral Roberts.

Two important winning streaks will once again be on the line for the Tigers tonight. Mizzou has a 23 game home winning streak which goes back to the last game of the 2007-2008 season. The Tigers also have a 41 game non conference home winning streak. That streak goes back to the 2005-2006 season.

Fairleigh Dickinson comes to Columbia on a seven game losing streak. The Knights last game was a 75-37 loss to Lafayette in December 9th. One thing that could be impacting their season so far is being under the direction of an interim head coach. Coach Gregory Vetrone took over just before the start of the season.

This will be just the second meeting between these two teams. The first game was on November 29th in 1975 as the Tigers beat the Knights, 87-67.

Finals are under way for the Tigers, so they will not play another game until one week from today. It will be another game at the Mizzou Arena as Mizzou will take on Arkansas Pine-Bluff.

The Tigers will not only be trying to extend their home court winning streaks, but also trying to give their coach the best birthday present, a win. Head coach Mike Anderson turns 50 years young today.

Tonight’s game will tip off at 7:00.
