A four game road trip for the unbeaten Missouri State Bears starts tonight in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The Bears will take on the 3-4 Arkansas State Redwolves. The Bears are 8-0 on the season for the first time since the 1996-1997 season.The Bears enter this contest after beating Tennessee-Martin, 79-51. The Bears led by 23 points at halftime and the final margin of victory, would be the largest in the history of JQH Arena. Three Bears scored 13 points, including Adam Leonard, Kyle Weems and Jermaine Mallett.

Arkansas-State is in the middle of a three game losing streak that dates back to the end of Novemeber. In their last game, they lost 74-55 to Memphis.

The Bears lead the series between these two teams with a record of 18-9, with Missouri State winning the last game in December of last year, 52-47. The Bears have an even record of 5-5 in Jonesboro.

After this game, the road trip continues with the Bears taking on the Saint Louis University Billikens, the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Evansville Purple Aces. The Bears will not return back to Springfield for a game until January 3rd.
