With Ty Conklin getting a rare start ahead of Chris Mason, the former Detroit goalie came up solid against the Red Wings as the Blues continue to dominate on the road winning 1-0.  Brad Boyes scored just 1:56 into the game and that goal stood up as the winner as Conklin made 42 saves in teh win.

The Blues are 8-2-3 in road games this year and 3-0-1 in games against the Red Wings. The Blues have won three straight road games and five of six. Conklin had his second shutout this season and won his third straight start, playing for the third time in 14 games.

Jimmy Howard, in the nets for Detroit, gave up the a goal on the second shot he faced and finished with 25 saves, getting the start ahead of slumping Chris Osgood.
