The Missouri Tigers lost 60-59 at Oral Roberts when Michael Craion got a layup to bounce around and in with .09 seconds to pull off the upset. Mizzou led by as many as 11 in the second half and couldn’t put the home team away.

Missouri is usually the team that wears down the opponent, but tonight the tables were turned. Mizzou started out slow in the first half as ORU built a 10 point lead with 4:00 to play in the opening half. Down 24-14, the Tigers closed out the half on a 12-0 run to lead 26-24.

The Tigers extended the lead to 48-37 with just over nine minutes to play, but ORU would finish the game on a 21-9 run. Mizzou would make just two of seven shots in the final minutes and turn the ball over four times.

Missouri attempted just three free throws and missed two of those down the stretch. The Tigers shot 40% from the game while ORU shot 45% and only used seven players in the game.

The Tigers looked sluggish the whole game again settling for a lot of jump shots. Tigers lose their third game on the road and fall to 5-3. Marcus Denmon scored 17, but missed a free throw with :10 left to give ORU the chance to win the game.
