The St. Louis Rams dropped to 1-11 after they were unable to find the end zone at Solider Field, yet the Rams had a chance to tie the ball game late. However the Rams were stopped on a 4th and 10 and lose to the Bears 17-9.

The Rams looked like they were headed for a blowout trailing 10-0 in the first quarter. Jay Cutler threw for 131 yards in that opening quarter, but would finish with just 143 for the game.

Meanwhile, the Rams slowed chipped away at the Bears lead thanks to three field goals from Josh Brown. He connected from 20, 48, and 50. On the chip shot, the Rams had an excellent opportunity to get a touchdown with a first and goal, but couldn’t get in.

The Rams defense played well after that first quarter as they held the Bears to 248 yards. The Bears had a chance to add to their 10-3 lead, but St. Louis stopped the Bears on a fake field goal.

Kyle Boller was just 17 of 32 for 113 yards and an interception. Steven Jackson went over the century mark gaining 112 yards on 28 carries.
