The Missouri women’s soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the Big 12 Championship with a 3-2 overtime win over Kansas in San Antonio. Senior Kristin Andrighetto scored twice for the Tigers and sophomore Jessie Crabtree added a goal as the Tigers’ avenged their only conference loss, a 3-2 final at Kansas, in the regular season finale last Friday.

Kansas took a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute. The 11th ranked offense in the nation wouldn’t stay quiet long for Missouri as they tied the game up in the 47th minute off a corner kick. KU came back 45 second later to regain the lead at 2-1. Then in the 57th minute Andrighetto scored her first of the night. Five minutes into the overtime session, Andrighetto scored the game-winning goal on a shot from 25 yards out.

Missouri advances to play #5-seed Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Championship semifinals on Friday at 5:30 p.m. in San Antonio after the Cowgirls knocked off Nebraska 3-0 earlier in the day.
