This promises to be one of the top Division II football matchups this year in the state of Missouri, if not the entire country. The Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, ranked third in the nation travels to Warrensburg to take on 16th ranked Central Missouri. Playoff implications for both teams ride heavily on this game.

The Bearcats are ranked 2nd in the Regional Rankings. Those rankings determine seeding for the playoffs with the top two teams getting a bye. The Mules are ranked sixth in that same regional. Only the top six teams advance, so it is a must win for Central Missouri. They are expecting a large crowd this weekend in Maryville.

The Central Missouri athletic’s department has 400 reserved tickets for sale for that 1:00pm kick. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students. UCM fans may call and place their order at (660) 543-4063, or stop by the Multipurpose Building, room 101 to reserve tickets. Only check or cash payment will be accepted. Fans can pick up the tickets Tuesday afternoon.  UCM athletics will stop sale of the tickets at 12:00 p.m. Friday, or while supplies last.
