The nationally ranked Lindenwood Lions will hit the road for their game tomorrow afternoon against the Culver-Stockton Wildcats.  The number three Lions will be trying to extend their conference winning streak to 15 games.

This will be a contest between teams with very different records.  The number three Lions are a perfect 6-0 on the season and are also 6-0 in HAAC play.  On the other side, the Wildcats have yet to win a game this season and are 0-5 and also have the same record in conference play.

Lindenwood is coming off a nearly perfect showing for the offense in the Homecoming game last Saturday against Baker.  The Lions would score on eight of nine offensive possessions and would win by a final score of 52-30 over the Wildcats.

Lindenwood finished the game with 503 total yards of offense, with 223 on the ground and 280 through the air.

Marcel Thompson led the offense with seven receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns. Philip Staback completed 12-of-18 passes for 170 yards and one touchdown. He extended his streak of not throwing an interception to 65 passes.  Richard Murrell finished one yard shy of the 100 mark on 11 carries and Denodus O’Bryant had 62 rushing yards on just six rushes.

Defensively, Logen Wright and Chris Howard each had 10 tackles and one pass breakup. Alex Meraz and Tony Ritzman both recorded a sack.

Lindenwood will kick off tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 in Canton against Culver-Stockton.
