Here’s a quick glance at things happening around the Big 12 as we enter the second week of Big 12 play. First, for the Missouri Tigers, they dropped out of the AP Top 25 poll following their loss against Nebraska.

This week the Tigers travel to Oklahoma State, who finds themselves at #16. Also, from the Big 12, Texas is #3, Nebraska #16, Kansas #17, and Oklahoma #20.

The Cowboys will be without Dez Bryant after he has been ruled ineligible for OSU because he lied to the NCAA about a meeting with former NFL player Deion Sanders.

Nebraska’ Ndamukong Suh was picked as the Walter Camp Foundation’s national defensive player of the week. I don’t need to tell Mizzou fans about the chaos he created, coming up with six tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and that big interception that led to NU grabbing the lead. Plus, on the forced fumble, he also spun QB Blaine Gabbert around like a rag doll injuring his ankle.
