The St. Louis Rams will be looking for their first win of the season when they play their home opener tomorrow afternoon at the Edward Jones Dome.  Despite their 0-2 mark on the season, the Rams did sell out the dome for their game against the Green Bay Packers.

St. Louis was in a dogfight last Sunday in Maryland against the Washington Redskins as defense was the word of the day for both teams.  But in the end, the Redskins would beat the Rams 9-7.

The Packers come into the game with a record of 1-1 on the season.  This will be the first road game for Green Bay who beat Chicago in week one, but lost last week to Cinncinnati.

So far this season, Rams running back Stephen Jackson has rushed for 171 yards, but has no rushing touchdowns.  Marc Bulger will be looking to improve his play as he has thrown for 316 yards and just one touchdown pass this season.  But, Bulger has yet to throw an interception this season.

About 20 minutes before the kick off, there will be a pre game ceremony to retire the number 75 jersey of former Ram David ‘Deacon’ Jones.  Jones was part of the fearsome foursome for the then Los Angeles Rams in the early 1960’s.

Kick for tomorrow’s game is set for noon.
