The Mizzou Tigers take their perfect 8-0 mark against teams from the Football Championship Subdivision into their game this afternoon at Faurot Field against the Furman Paladins.

The Tigers are coming off a come from behind 27-20 win last Saturday night at home against Bowling Green.  In that game, Mizzou had to rally from a 3rd-quarter 20-6 deficit. The Tigers would go on to score 21 straight points in the final 16 minutes of the game to get the win.  Mizzou running back Derrick Washington led the offense with 120 yards rushing.  For the defense, linebacker Sean Weatherspoon had 14 tackles.  He now leads the conference in tackles and is tied for 12th nationally.

Furman is also 2-0 on the season, after defeating conference foe Chattanooga last week 38-20. That followed a season-opening 45-21 home win over Presbyterian. The Paladins feature an offense that leads the FCS in 3rd-down conversions, as well as ranking in the 20 in five other major offensive categories.

Kick off is set for 1:00.
