Tigers Back On Practice Field

August 29, 2009 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri Tigers will be back on the practice field this morning, short one quarterback after the dismissal yesterday of quarterback Blaine Dalton.

According to a release from the university, Dalton was kicked off the team by head coach Gary Pinkel for a violation of team conduct.

University of Missouri Police say Dalton was arrested on several charges early yesterday morning.  Mizzou officials say there will be no further comment on the issue.

This will be the first game week practice for the Tigers as they get ready for their season opener next Saturday afternoon in St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome against Illinois.
