Carl Edwards will hit the track at the Michigan International Speedway this afternoon for the Nationwide Series race, the Carfax 250.  He comes into the race in second place in the series standings, 212 points behind leader Kyle Busch. 

Edwards will be right back at Michigan again tomorrow afternoon for the Sprint Cup Series race, the Carfax 400.  He qualified in the back of the pack and will start from the 32nd spot and will be looking for his first win of the season in the series. 

With just four races left until the start of the Chase, Edwards is in sixth place in the series standings.  While he is 553 points behind leader Tony Stewart, he is just 17 points behind Denny Hamlin who is fifth place.  The top 12 drivers will qualify for the Chase for the Cup.
