Rams to scrimmage on Saturday

August 7, 2009 By admin

The St. Louis Rams plan on having "live" play when the team gets together for their first scrimmage on Saturday at Lindenwood University, but head coach Steve Spagnuolo says the Rams need to take care of some of basics as well.

When Spagnuolo talks about "live" play, he referencing actually playing the game.  With a play clock, play calling and real time scenarios.  Spagnuolo also says there will be times when the scrimmage is played in a controlled enviroment.  Whether that’s running a series of goal line plays or field goals, etc.  In addition to the play on the field, Spagnuolo said it will also be important for the team to go through their pre-game warmups so that everyone is familiar with the way Spagnuolo wants to prep for regular games.

Below are directions to the St. Louis Rams open scrimmage at Lindenwood University on Friday, August 7.  The scrimmage begins at 6:30 p.m.
