Missouri has been picked to finish third in the Big 12 North Division by the league’s media.  Mizzou, the two-time defending Big 12 North Champions, received 124 points, including three first-place votes in the poll.

Nebraska was tabbed to win the Big 12 North, with Kansas coming in second and Missouri third.  Colorado, Kansas State and Iowa State round out the division. Texas and Oklahoma tied as the favorite in the South, each garnering 174 points, followed by Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor and Texas A&M.

Mizzou will return 10 starters from 2008, including five on offense, four on defense and one specialist.  No way on Nebraska.  Head coach Bo Pelini is getting way too much credit as he enters his second season.  The Huskers are weak at quarterback and they lost key receivers to graduation.

I go with KU-1, MU-2, NU-3, CU-4, K-State-5, I-State-6.  This will certainly give some motivation to Missouri.
