July 10, 2009 By admin Leave a Comment

Butting out in St. Louis County.

Firefighters and paramedics who work for St. Louis County’s West County EMS and Fire Protection District are being told they cannot use tobacco products while in uniform or on district property. In addition, any new recruits hired as of January 1st of next year will be required to avoid smoking or chewing tobacco while on or off duty.

Enforcement will be on the honor system with no testing.
