Story by Manuel Haley: The struggles continue for the Kansas City Royals as they drop their fourth in a row last night to the red hot Chicago White Sox, 5-0. It was a pitchers duel between KC starter Zack Greinke and Chicagos John Danks.
Greinke would only give up two earned runs over six innings of work. But Danks would be better as he would give up no runs and only five hits over seven and a third. The Royals offense continues their anemic trend as they have only scored just three runs in their last four games, and just 10 over their last 23. The Royals will be back at it this afternoon at the K, as Luek Hochevar will take the mound for Kansas City against Chicagos Gavin Floyd. Royals game time is 12:10.
