The Kansas City Royals could build off Zack Greinke’s momentum on Friday night as the Royals dropped a 3-2 decision to Baltimore on Saturday evening.  Two wild pitches would lead to two of the Orioles’ three runs.

The game started with Royals’ starter Kyle Davies (2-2) walking Brian Roberts on four pitches.  He stole two bases and later scored from third on a Davies’ wild pitch.  Down 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, the Royals came back to tie.

Orioles’ starter Rich Hill (1-0) walked Jose Guillen intentionally to walk to bases loaded in order to face Alberto Callaspo.  He made Hill pay for his decision by doubling in two runs to tie the game.

In the top of the fifth with two outs, former Cardinal Cesar Izturis singled and then advanced on a wild pitch to second.  He would then score on a Nick Markakis two out single which proved to be the winning run.
