Greg Folgia hit two home runs, including an inside the park homer to help in Missouri’s 8-5 win over Kansas Friday night in Columbia.  After a mid-week loss to Missouri State, the Tigers are back on track in Big 12 play.

Mizzou came back with a solo home run by junior Aaron Senne in the 5th. In the 6th, Folgia just missed a tradition home run when he shot to center hit the wall, but Folgia raced around for a three run inside the park homer, after KU centerfielder, Jason Brunansky, was injured trying to make the play.

Folgia leads the team with 11 homers and with a sac fly later in the game finished with five RBI.

Junior Kyle Gibson moved to 9-3 with the win.  He struck out eight in eight innings pitched, allowing four runs on seven hits and walking just one. Gibson has won each of his last five starts and moved into sixth place on MU’s single-season strikeouts list with 115 Ks on the year.
