Royals’ starting pitcher Zach Greinke finally gave up a earned run in his fifth start of the season.  Going back to last September his streak was at 43 innings, but the Royals won 11-3.

Toronto scored single runs in the first and third innings, but it didn’t matter much as the Royals lit up Jays starter Bryan Tallet for 10 runs in five innings.

The offensive star was Billy Butler who hit his first two home runs of the year and drove in four runs as the Royals scored a run in the 2nd, three in the 3rd, two in the 4th, five in the 5th, and added one more in the 6th.  Mark Teahen also homered.

As far as Greinke, he is now 5-0 this year and 10-0 in his last two Aprils.  He went seven innings while giving up two runs while striking out eight.
