It appears Larry Johnson’s days with the Chiefs could be numbered.  The team is appealing $3.75 million dollars of guaranteed money that is owed to Johnson, with the team saying that since the NFL suspended him for one week last season, Johnson breached his contract.

The case is being heard by a special master.  Adam Tiecher of the Kansas City Star reports a source saying "the Chiefs would probably release Johnson if they prevail, suggesting the team wouldn’t be going through the trouble if it didn’t intend to free him from his contract."
