Jay Bilas concerned about MU’s press defense

Jay Bilas of ESPN spoke with me to talk NCAA tournament basketball.  He’s been impressed with the Missouri Tigers since last season, but also thinks a team that plays pressure defense in the NCAA tournament could struggle.

On this week’s Pressbox Podcast , I got the lowdown from Bilas on the number one seeds and whether or not Memphis deserved a number one seed?  The fact the Tigers of Memphis didn’t get a number one seed could prove a difficult task for Mizzou.

Bilas thinks a team like Memphis could cause problems with Missouri because as Bilas says the key to pressure defense is scoring on the offensive end and if MU can’t score against a talented Memphis team, it takes away much of what the press can offer.
