Another strong second half led to another win and the Missouri Tigers first conference championship in the Big 12 as the 15th ranked and 3rd seeded Tigers beat 9th seeded Baylor 73-60.

Despite playing their third game in three days, DeMarre Carroll played 32 minutes and scored a game high 20 points.  Mike Anderson told ESPN’s Holly Rowe on the court "credit the seniors for their leadership."  Leo Lyons and Matt Lawrence added 13 points each as Lawrence was 3 for 6 on three pointers.  It seemed each time Baylor made a run to close in on Mizzou, Lawrence would deliver a three pointer.

The Tigers had a four point lead at the half, the first time they’ve been leading.  They were tied with Texas Tech and trailed OSU by two, but just as they did in those two previous games, they used a strong second half to pull away.  Once again, you could see fatigue wearing on Baylor.

LaceDarius Dunn hit a three pointer around the 10:00 mark of the first half and Baylor was up 19-12.  It looked early on as though Mizzou may have been a little tentative.

The Tigers then went on a 15-1 run to open up a 27-20 lead.  The Tigers would never relinquish the lead again after that.  Where will the Tigers land?  I think they have a great shot at a #2, but probably a #3 seed for the NCAA tournament.
