Missouri man finishes third at Bassmaster Classic

February 23, 2009 By admin Leave a Comment

A Missouri man made quite a run at the Bassmaster Fishing Classic finishing third.  Brian Snowden, a guide at Table Rock Lake, finished didn’t miss the championship by much in the three-day Bassmaster Classic that ended Sunday.

Fishing on the Red River in Louisiana, he caught 52 pounds, 14 ounces of bass.  A great haul, but it was  less than 2 pounds behind the winning total of 54 pounds, 13 ounces, caught by Skeet Reeseof Auburn, Calif.  Snowden who lives in Reeds Springs Missouri caught just over 18 pounds of fish on the last day and said after the event all he needed was just one more big fish.
