The 18 th -ranked Mules wrestling team fell to sixth-ranked Central Oklahoma 27-7 on Thursday night at the UCM Multipurpose building. The Mules have never beaten Central Oklahoma in a dual meet (0-30).

Senior 133-pounder Grant Bakerscored an 11-2 major decision to tie the dual at 4-4 early on, but UCO won three straight matches before senior 165-lb. Andrew Hicklinwon by an 8-6 margin. The Bronchos won the final four matches of the night, including a 4-1 win by fourth-ranked heavyweight Dustin Finn over No. 5 Cody Beck.

The Mules are back in action this Sunday when they host the first ever MIAA Duals. Action begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Multi with UCM competing against Fort Hays State, Truman and No. 1 Nebraska-Omaha.
