MU, MSU in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper’s Fab 40 poll

The Missouri Tigers and Missouri State Bears have earned spots in Collegiate Baseball Newspaper’s Fabulous 40 preseason poll that was released over the holiday break.

The Tigers who went 39 and 21 are ranked 22nd in the poll.  The Bears coming off a 2008 season where they finished 40-17 are ranked 32nd.  Click for more on the NCAA Division I poll .  

Collegiate Baseball picked MSU pitcher Tim Clubb as a first team starting pitcher and Ben Carlson made the third team as a first baseman. Mizzou’s Kyle Gibson was named second team All-American.
