Missourians hurt by September storms must apply for FEMA aid by January 12th

State and federal officials have announced more than $7.9 million in disaster aid has been approved in Federal Emergency Management Agency grants for Missouri residents suffering damage from the severe storms, flooding and tornado during the period of September 11th through the 24th.

Individuals and businesses that suffered damage during this period have until January 12th to register with FEMA for disaster assistance. The number to call to register for FEMA’s individual assistance is 1-800-621-FEMA or by registering online.
