Mizzou’s Coffman has broken foot

January 1, 2009 By admin Leave a Comment

The Kansas City Star reported that Tiger tight end Chase Coffman broke a bone in his left foot on the Tigers last play of the Alamo Bowl.  The Star also reporting that his dad Paul said it won’t affect his draft status and will compete at the NFL Combine in February.

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Coffman is a pro-caliber NFL player.  My only concern with him is his body from the ankles down.  The last two years, he’s suffered ankle or foot injuries which really hampered his play late in each of his past two seasons.  The only question I would have about Coffman would be his durability.
