Governor to work with private equity firm

December 31, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Governor Matt Blunt (R-MO) has found work. He’ll become a senior adviser for a private equity firm based in Massachusetts. The company is run by the son of former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA), whom Blunt supported in last year’s presidential campaign. Romney’s son, Tagg, founded the company earlier this year.

It’s not a fulltime job. A spokesman for Blunt says he’ll probably hold several jobs after noon on January 12th, when Jay Nixon is sworn in as Governor. The Blunt family will resume fulltime residence in Springfield.
