He won’t be spending Christmas with them this year, but West-Central Missouri Congressman Ike Skelton says he will be thinking about our troops serving in the Middle East as he celebrates the holidays.
Skelton spent Thanksgiving in Afghanistan, sharing the holiday meal with Missouri National Guardsmen serving there. Skelton plans to take some time off this Christmas, celebrating in a more private way with his new bride. He does say Missourians need to remember their troops this Christmas and throughout the year. Skelton says everyone should thank members of the military for their service when they return home.
