Mizzou prepares for N'Western On Friday the Missouri Tigers were back on the practice field after taking some time off from the Big 12 loss to Oklahoma and to study and take final exams last week.  There was a little delay in getting things started, but head Gary Pinkel has a good plan in place.

Friday they were just in helmets. Saturday they hit the field in full pads and worked out for couple of hours, now Sunday and today it’s just like normal game week operations.

The team will leave for San Antonio on Tuesday, then have practices for four straight days beginning on Christmas Eve.  They’ll have next Sunday off  before the Alamo Bowl a week from tonight.

This team stubbed their toe with KU and then the OU loss, this team is reeling a bit with its second two game losing streak of the season.  The attitude that I’m getting from the coaches and the players is that a 10 win season hinging on this game gives a lot of importance to the Alamo Bowl.

On the injury front.  Tight end Chase Coffman, receiver Danario Alexander were limited in practice wearing red jerseys, but they did participate.  William Moore, the Tigers top safety did not practice at all.

Coming up tomorrow, we’ll hear from the Tigers before the head to San Antonio and find out why playing the Alamo Bowl is better for the Tigers than playing New Years Day in the Gator Bowl.  For the Mizzou Bowl Report, I’m Bill Pollock, Missourinet sports.
