The Missouri Tigers continued to lean on senior forwards DeMarre Carroll and Leo Lyons as the pair combined to score 37 points and lead the Tigers to a 93-66 win over California on Sunday a Mizzou Arena.

Carroll had 19 and Lyons 18, as Mizzou never trailed in the contest and got great bench production once again as the Tiger reserves outscored Cal’s bench 43-21.  A big burst in the first half opened up a big lead and the Tigers cruised with their reserves in the game.  Freshmen guards Kim English had 16 points and Marcus Denmon 14. Over the last two games Missouri is averaging 46.5 bench points per game.

The Tigers struggled from the three point line on just 1-of-13 from three-point line, but shot 49 percent from the floor. English led Missouri’s, hitting 4-of-5 treys in the second half to record a career high 16 points. Denmon made 5-of-5 free throws, while finishing 4-of-13 from the floor.

Carroll was 8-of-12 shots in just 22 minutes, and Lyons 7-of-11 shots  in 22 minutes of playing time as well.
