In Missouri high school football, the championships of classes 2, 4 and 6 will be going on today at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.  Yesterday, the odd classes took their turn: in Class One, it was a wild one, as Orrick beat Thayer 34-28 in overtime.  Both teams missed extra points in the final minute to send the game to OT.

In Class Three, it was close, as Cassville walloped Cardinal Ritter 31-7.

Rounding out the night, it was Hazelwood East winning another wild one, scoring in the final seconds to take the Class Five championship 39-34 over Raytown South.

Today, the Class Two championship will feature Clark County versus Maryville at noon.  Following that, it will be Webb City facing Helias in Class Four.   Finally, Blue Springs South will square off with Hazelwood Central for the Class Six championship.
