Chase Daniel is not spending anytime this week thinking beyond Kansas and looking ahead to the Big 12 Championship game. Looking ahead would go against everything this team has done all year, plus Daniel has a chance to go 3-0 against MU’s biggest rival.
Daniel talks about the KU game. His buddy, Texas quarterback Colt McCoy has already faced the Jayhawks and Daniel kind of hem-hawed around when asked if he would pick his friend’s brain about what KU offers. Daniel then admitted that he can learn all he needs to learn by watching tape.
Daniel expects to have his favorite tight end Chase Coffman back on the field this week. Coffman was just named one of three finalists for the John Mackey Award for the top tight end in the country.
