November 17, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

With the Tigers winning their second consecutive Big 12 Conference North Division title with its victory over Iowa State, the Tigers are guaranteed a spot in the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship Game against the still-to-be-determined South Division winner.

The game, which will be nationally-televised on ABC Sports, will be played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Dec. 6 th , with kickoff set for 7 p.m.

The Big 12 Conference will allocate the University of Missouri approximately 8,500 tickets for the title game located in the north sideline and east endzone sections of Arrowhead Stadium.  Due to such limited availability, the priority to reserve tickets in advance was offered exclusively to 2008 Tiger Scholarship Fund donors at the Champion Level and above.  Donors are reminded that their post-season ticket reservation form must be received by mail in the Mizzou Ticket Office by Friday, Nov. 21 st to ensure priority seating.

Fans and alumni who did not receive a Big 12 Championship ticket option from the Mizzou Ticket Office are encouraged to visit www.ticketmaster.com and enter "Arrowhead Stadium" in the search venue to order tickets while supplies last.

The Department of Athletics has held back a limited amount of its total ticket allotment to offer exclusively to Mizzou students who purchased the 2008 Student Season Ticket Combo.  Students are encouraged to visit www.mutigers.com for more information on the ordering process beginning Tuesday,  Nov. 18 th at 8 p.m.
