President of Lincoln U. to serve on NCAA council

Dr. Carolyn R. Mahoney, president of Lincoln University, out of Jefferson City, MO. has been named to the NCAA Division II President’s Council.  She will start her term immediately and serve through the end of 2010.

The council is in charge of creating policies and providing direction for the division.  The membership consists of CEO’s and/or presidents from the nation’s colleges and universities.

Dr. Mahoney is also a member of the NCAA D-II game environment advisory group and she chairs the Heartland Conference Council of Presidents.
