Despite throwing three interceptions, Brett Favre led the Jets back on a 4 th quarter drive to rally and the beat the underdog Chiefs 28-24 at the Meadowlands in New York.  Tyler Thigpen played well in his second NFL start for the Chiefs.

Favre hit Lavernaues Coles from 15 yards out as Coles made a great one handed catch at the goalline on a ball he came back for to give the Jets a lead.  Earlier in the fourth, Favre had the Jets deep in KC territory, but rookie Brandon Flowers intercepted Favre at the 8 and went the distance for a touchdown to put the Chiefs up 24-21 with 7:48 to play.

Thigpen did a good job.  The third string quarterback was 25 of 36 for 280 yards and two touchdowns and was driving the team down when his fourth and 1 pass to former Mizzou Tiger Will Franklin was broken up.

Dwayne Bowe and Tony Gonzalez each pulled in six passes, but it was recent signee Mark Bradley who made a great toe tapping grab at the back of the endzone at the end of the first half that tie the game at 14 that highlighted the day.
