Cardinal first basemen Albert Pujols was voted the National League’s Outstanding Player by the MLB Player’s Association.  Pujols hit .357, second highest in the NL behind Chipper Jones.

Pujols is also a finalist for the Players Choice award for player of the year and the Man of the Year award.

The MVP award, which is voted on by baseball writers will be announced in mid-November.
