If you had any doubts about what time this week’s Missouri Tiger game kicked off with Colorado, you’ll find out rather quickly when you listen to head coach Gary Pinkel and quarterback Chase Daniel.
The message from Pinkel to his team at Sunday’s practice was simple. Any thought any player has of Texas, Oklahoma State, or Illinois need to go out the window. If the season is going to be saved, it all starts with 5:30 on Saturday.
Pinkel talked this week about trying to tweak the defense to not allow big plays or give up nine yards per play. He also said he needs to see better effort from his players, but he also pointed out, the Tigers have played two very good football teams. Texas, of course is number in the country while Oklahoma State has moved up to sixth.
