A couple of weeks ago I would have given the Cowboys an automatic W for this week’s game against the Rams.  After what has transpired over the last 48 hours, I may not be so quick to pick Dallas.

First, Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo has a broken pinkie finger that he suffered in Dallas’ overtime loss to Arizona.  It is possible he could be out at least four weeks.  That will leave the job to 40 year old Brad Johnson.

Second, cornerback Pacman Jones, or Adam as he is now called is being suspended for four weeks.  NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent a letter to owner Jerry Jones.  In the letter it stated a "disturbing pattern of behavior and clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL."

The disturbance at an upscale Dallas hotel came only six weeks after Goodell reinstated Jones from a previous 17 month suspension.
