Mizzou moves up in rankings

Mizzou back in action this weekend at NU (Bill Greenblatt, UPI) It’s addition by subtraction.  Following upset losses this week by USC, Georgia, and Florida, the Missouri Tigers benefit on the bye week by moving up in both the AP and USA Today Top 25 polls .

In the AP, the Tigers move up to number 4, behind LSU, Alabama, who dominated and held off Georgia between the hedges, and Oklahoma who moves to number one, after that spot was vacated by USC who lost last Thursday.  Florida got edged in The Swamp by Ole Miss by one point.

The USA Today poll moved Alabama up to 4th, sliding Mizzou into the number three spot behind LSU and OU.

The Tigers head to Lincoln, NE to take on the Huskers looking for their first win in 15 games and 30 years.
