The jury selection for a man accused of killing three people and wounding four others in a Neosho church shooting in 2007 will be held next July.

Eiken Elam Saimon, 53, who remains in jail without bail, was on trial last week on three counts of murder, four counts of assault and one count each of felonious restraint and armed criminal action for the August 2007 shooting at the First Congregational Church of Neosho.

The people killed in the assault were Associate Pastor Kernal Rehobson, 43, his uncle and church deacon, Intenson Rehobson, 44, and Kuhpes Jesse Ikosia, 53, also a church deacon.

Officials said the panel of jurors will likely be selected from Greene County and the trial could begin as early as July.
