Zack Greinke picked up his 11th win of the year after waiting out a two hour and 14 minute rain delay to win game one 8-3, then the Royals took game two behind Mark Teahen’s two home runs in an 8-4 win in game two.

Miguel Olivo drove in three runs with three hits in the first game and Robinson Tejada made his first start for the Royals going five innings for the win.

In game one, the offense showed up again led by Teahen as the Royals pounded out 15 hits, including three by Mark Teahen and two each by David DeJesus, Mike Aviles, Jose Guillen, Ross Gload and Alberto Callaspo
