Pittsburgh’s Brandon Moss hit a double with two outs in the bottom of the 12th with two outs to rally the Pirates to a come from behind 7-6 win over the Cardinals as they drop their 10th in 14 games.

The bullpen held down the Pirates for seven innings, and Chris Perez had gone an inning and two thirds, but Adam LaRoche drew a walk with two outs and Moss’ double was the first Pirate hit since the 6th inning.

The bullpen did a great job despite giving up the winning run, but the Pirates touched starter Adam Wainwright for all six runs.  He pitched five innings and gave up nine hits and two walks.

The Cardinals were up 6-2, but Wainwright had trouble in the fifth, allowing five straight hits to start inning.  With the loss the Cardinals are still five games behind Milwaukee who lost to Philadelphia who pulled to within two games after beating Philly.
