The rumor going around Busch Stadium tonight is that with Hurricane Ike heading for Texas this weekend, the Houston Astros and Chicago Cubs could play their weekend series at Busch Stadium.
Someone with the Cubs organization said one thought is to play an afternoon game on Friday, not play on Saturday when the Hurricane and rain will be passing through, then play a doubleheader on Sunday in Houston.
The second option would be to just move the games up here to St. Louis. A decision will be made on Thursday. The Cardinals head to Pittsburgh after their series with the Cubs.
