The Kansas City Royals completed their nine game road trip a miserable 1-8, following Thursday afternoon’s 10-3 loss at Cleveland.  The loss drops the Royals four and a half games behind the Tribe for fourth place.

Cleveland scored six of their ten runs on three home runs as Zach Greinke was touched for six runs, five earned, over five innings over work.  Mark Teahen had two RBI which cut the Indians’ lead to 5-3 at one point, but that’s as close as the Royals would get.

Cliff Lee, the Indians starter, picked up his third win of the year against Kansas City.
