Hulshof campaign optimistic as votes come in

August 5, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Supporters of Republican gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof are gathering in the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia, and they’re optimistic as the votes slowly roll in.

Scott Baker with the Hulshof Campaign says everyone is closely monitoring the results, trying to deterimine where the Hulshof votes are coming from and, more importantly, how well the 9th District Congressman is doing in certain key regions of the state.

Baker says it appears as though Hulshof is holding his own in the areas he expected to win and is doing well in some of the other areas where the outcome seemed uncertain. Baker is hoping the winner is determined before too long.
