The Daniel Boone National team from Columbia, Missouri bounced back from a tough opening day loss in the Midwest Regional of the Little League World Series to move to 1-1 in the opening round of the tournament.

After kicking off the regional with a 12-2 loss in four innings in the first game against Urbandale, Iowa, Boone rebounded with a 5-4 win over Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

The team from Columbia sits in a four way tie for 2nd place, and hold the fourth and final spot needed to advance to the next round based on run differencial.  The Daniel Boone squad will play Tuesday morning against a team from South Dakota that is 2-0 and then wrap up first round action with a team from Kearney who is 0-2, but has lost both games for by a combined two runs.
