Girl drowns in Branson motel pool

July 29, 2008 By admin Leave a Comment

Econo Lodge Pool Fire officials in Branson said a six-year-old girl on vacation visiting her grandparents drowned in a motel swimming pool. Aalyiyah Mays from Festus was swimming with her sister and two cousins at the Econo Lodge. They were in the pool without permission.

Division fire chief Ted Martin said an eight-year-old rescued the five-year-old and four-year-old, but was not able to get to Aalyiyah in time.
