Back in February, Ralph Nader announced his intention to seek the presidency, with efforts beginning – at that time – to get his name on as many state ballots as possible. As part of that effort, Missouri supporters have submitted more than 20,000 signatures to the Secretary of State’s Office for verification.

Bob Delaviras, the Missouri State Coordinator of the Campaign, says the signatures were collected from all over the state. State law requires 10,000 valid signatures for ballot placement.

The Secretary of State’s Office will complete the verification process by August 12th, with approval by August 19th.
